Ford's diagnostic routine includes the use of a breakout box for voltage and resistance measurements. Simply disconnect the Powertrain Module connector and install the breakout box between the Powertrain Module and the vehicle connector. This breakout box utilizes OEM connectors and terminals to ensure long life and correct hookup. Matrix panel has 104 pins plus a separate ground connection for system tests. Heavy duty case for safe storage. Allows the technician to follow the manufacture's diagnostic procedures for fast and accurate repair of the vehicle. Proper voltage and resistance measurements are determined with high impedance volt/ohm meter (not included). |
